You are not entitled to the wireless adapter, because the ruby and sapphire are not compatible, you must use a link cable to do so!
Do not use a GBA link cable between them and no wireless adapter trade. Ruby and Sapphire do not trade with adapters.
When you get to save a connection to a game too. the cable connection, you can interact with other Pokémon. What we need, 2 gameboy advances or need a GameCube, which has a slot for GBA and Gamecube disc that lets you play the GBA game. Hope this helps
